These pruners are just OK. These hand pruners are fairly cheaply made, except for the actual cutting surfaces. The plastic components feel flimsy and the lock does not inspire much confidence. They do however get the job done. For smaller plants (ferns as opposed to more resilient vegetation) this cuts with ease. Wouldn’t use them if I was given a new pair every day. These worked for about 4 hours then, like others have said, they just fold over the stem or leaf or whatever you are trimming. They have a serious alignment problem with the blade tips. One blade will over extend the other in an attempt to trim. I think they were designed like this as it seems it would help them make a better cut but it absolutely doesnt. I have 2 pairs of the orange handled brand one pair plain steel and the other pair with gold coating like these. Even being years old they…
