they are still the best trays I have found when using a heat mat … Many people ask the question about the sturdiness of these seed plant trays. Over the years I have purchased these trays from numerous sources and there is little difference in the manufacturing of these trays. Although they are flexible and to some people flimsy, they are still the best trays I have found when using a heat mat to germinate pepper and tomato seeds. 4 of the 10 trays had holes 4 of the 10 trays had holes. Poorly manufactured using plastic stock that wasn’t heavy enough to be vacuformed. They are paper thin in some places, especially the corners. They are not going to last long. I bought these in late January when I ordered my seeds. Yesterday was March 17. I started setting seeds for May transplants and found that 40% of these trays were useless. I am beyond the 30 day return period but am going to try to get replacements.
