The Dwarf Mugo Pine is native to the high elevations of the mountain regions of Central and Southern Europe. It was first introduced into Denmark in 1798 and became widely grown in Europe commercially since 1860. It has been used to stabilize coastal sand dune areas in Europe. It has small dark green needles which grow slowly and are very easy to maintain. Being an evergreen, this bonsai looks great throughout the year. This bonsai will provide an experience that is perfect for beginners because it is a very low-maintenance bonsai with a hearty constitution. This slow growing plant is easy to grow and easy to care for making it a great choice for any bonsai enthusiast.

Cracked pot, but still a good purchase. This arrived a day late (UPS had a “mechanical failure”) but still in good health. Sadly even with Brussel’s usual excellent packing job the pot cracked somewhere along the line. It’s still usable but will probably be thrown away after repotting. There were a few flowers still on the tree, we’ll see how it does for berries this fall.The tag says this is the “Red Elf” variety not “Red Cushion” I wouldn’t have noticed a difference without the tag though…

Better than expected. I ordered my tree before I read the reviews, so I lowered my expectations a little. However, when the tree arrived today, it was better than I had thought. I should have known, I have purchased trees from Brussel’s before and they have all been excellent.My tree has a well shaped trunk and was covered in berries. The picture on Amazon showed a light blue pot. I have several of that color, so I was hoping it might be different. I was very pleased to open the box and find a bright red pot…

Pyracantha SHORTER than Discription The Pyracantha I recieved was MUCH shorter than the 13 inches mentioned in the discription. The plant is barely 8 iches high at the tallest shoot, with most of the plant just 6-7 inches tall. Even if the 13 inches means from the bottom of the planter to the top of the plant, its only 10 or 11 inches at the most. Also, they say this is an OUTDOOR plant. However, my information says this plant will die below 23 degrees, making it a ZONE 6-8 plant. If you live in zones 2-6, and dont have an…
