The book is poorly organized and makes itself a boring read through instead of a reference guide. Usually these bonsai books bring some new things to the table: pictures, new techniques. This book is fluff. I thought I was going to get a specialized view of deciduous and coniferous tress and what you actually get is “I recommend reading this fine book “so and so” on air layering.” What a let down. Buy it used and cheap as there are some specimens worth looking at. Otherwise just another brick…
