There are even special containers built just for terrariums. Your choices are endless; just make sure that you choose a clear container that’s been cleaned with hot soapy water, as tinted or cloudy glass or plastic will interfere with plant growth by reducing light. This kit is great for the first time terrarium gardener. I ordered two kits to start a large glass jar terrarium. I wish when ordering someone would give a guess about how large of a container one kit would fill. My container was about a gallon and a half and two kits did fine.
